Laptop & Computer Repair
Won't power on
Try a different charger and wall socket, then unplug and hold the power button for about 15 seconds. If there is still no sign of life, bring it to the workshop.
Lines or dark screen
Connect it to an external monitor or TV via HDMI. If the external display looks fine, the issue is likely the panel or the display cable.
Slow and overheating
Use it on a hard, flat surface and keep the vents clear. If it shuts down from heat regularly, have it checked soon before other components are affected.
Not charging
Check the charger cable for kinks or exposed wire and try another socket. Don't force a plug that feels loose in the port.
Liquid spill
Shut it down immediately, unplug the charger and don't turn it on again even if it seems dry. Bring it in as soon as possible, as quick handling improves the odds.
Swollen battery
Stop using it and don't charge it. Don't press on or remove the battery yourself, keep it away from flammable items and bring it to the workshop.
Test the socket with another appliance and make sure the home circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Don't take apart any electrical parts yourself.
Washer drum won't spin
Check the drum isn't overloaded and the door or lid is fully closed. If it still won't move, stop and contact us.
Leaking water
Cut the power first (switch off at the breaker if the socket is wet too) before wiping up any pooled water, then turn off the water tap. Don't use it until it has been checked.
Loud noise or shaking
Make sure it stands level and nothing is caught inside. If the noise continues, stop using it.
Burning smell
Switch off and unplug it right away, keep it away from anything flammable, then contact us.
Not heating or cooling
Check the temperature and mode settings. If they are correct and it still doesn't work, note the symptoms for diagnosis.
